Little Creek Server Rules

*** RP = Role Play

  • 🔞+ Server
    • Anyone below the age of 18 will be kicked and banned.
  • 🎯 No RDM or KOS
    • All conflicts must be initiated verbally and with RP/context. The target of a conflict attack must be able to recognize they’re being threatened with harm, why and by whom before they’re injured.
  • 🙊 🙈 🙉No Metagaming
    • Do not disclose or act on information you didn’t get in character.
  • 💎 Value of life
    • Freedom, and the lives of others (including NPCs) by taking appropriate risks for your character and accepting consequences that might result from your decision
    • This ain’t your average NVL rule folks! Taking a high-risk action must result in reciprocally high consequences should you fail.
  • 🤠 Lore respect
    • Our expectation is that at all times, players respect the lore and setting in which their character exists (RDR2 in 1899), and their impact on the RP happening around them.
  • 💀 Perma Death
    • Perma death isn’t required and cannot be forced for any reason and is the sole decision of the character’s player.
  • 🏡 Home & business
    • Properties can be repossessed by the government at any time if the player goes to Sisika or doesn’t pay their taxes.
    • Purchased properties may restrict access and be defended up to the fence line if one exists or around 15 paces from the front and back door.
    • Restricted access does not prohibit law from investigating crimes that may have taken place on the property.
    • You may have your character squat on a property. This is not a legal claim, this means that people are allowed to squat in the same location and owners can kick you out.
    • Properties cannot get stolen or extorted from their owner
  • ⛳ Claiming a territory
    • An individual cannot claim territory. However, if your group wishes to claim territory then the following steps must be taken:
      • 🔴Your group must have an active Special agreement, this can be obtained through a 📩┃ticket with staff.⠀⠀⠀
      • 🔴Your territory cannot block access to server mechanics (e.g., hotels, stores, stables, etc.) or other areas on the map, nor be chosen with the intention of making access to those mechanics difficult.
  • 🗡️ Torture & Violence
    • For any torture/violent RP, consent must be obtain from the other player OOC. Proof may be requested if need be. Scene and actions cannot be overly descriptive or gruesome. We get it, you are ripping off their eyeballs !
  • 👶🏽👶🏿👶🏻Pregnancy RP
    • is allowed but there will be no giving birth or baby in county.
  • 🙊 🙈 🙉 Prohibited topics
    • Roleplay and references to the following topics, both verbal and written, are absolutely not permitted by Little Creek RP
    • 🔴Racism\sexism
    • 🔴Suicide/self-harm
    • 🔴Children/Child Roleplay
    • 🔴Miscarriage
    • 🔴Slavery Roleplay
    • 🔴No hate speech, slurs or portrayal of hate crimes
  • 🪖 No Active military
    • Veterans are acceptable. Military might be coming eventually but for now, let’s keep this simple
  • 👨Characters 👩
    • Players may not play a character affiliated with an RDR2 organization, location, or character with the intention of receiving an in-game benefit (e.g., playing a character with the last name Braithwaite does not entitle the character to Braithwaite manor without purchase).
  • 🩸Serial Killing
    • You are not allowed to play a serial killer without a serial killer or vendetta agreement using the << Special Agreement>> 📩┃ticket.
    • This is to assure you have the support you need from the admin team to accomplish your story and prevent drama.
  • 💊 Psychiatric Conditions
    • Diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions are prohibited with limited exceptions applied to characters specifically licensed, trained, and approved by the Chief of Medicine.
    • Inquiries regarding medical licensing and training can be directed to the Chief of Medicine via telegram (first step on your journey will be to discover contact information IC on server).
  • 🪶 Indigenous RP
    • Characters who are indigenous must identify as or play as part of a fictionalized tribe rather than portraying a member of an existing nation (e.g., Cherokee, Apache, etc.).
    • Native stories and identities are woefully under-represented in the media and could be inaccurate. We do not wish anyone’s portrayal of indigenous characters on this server to further misrepresent.
    • Further, we want to prevent “RP-checking” that may occur, and give players the freedom to make authentic roleplay decisions based on their character and the moment without feeling bound by the responsibility of portraying a representative of an existing tribe.
    • Tribal names and customs may be inspired by existing tribes, but should be fictionalized. As an example, the RDR2 Wapiti nation’s name is an anglicized spelling of the Shawnee and Cree nations’ word for elk.
    • Indigenous characters can request special items, such as tipis, via filing a support ticket
  • 🌟Supernatural characters
    • Characters may have the appearance of being ‘supernatural’ but may not actually be supernatural, and a rational explanation must be discoverable by other players.
    • Characters appearing to be vampires, aliens, ghosts, or time travelers are not allowed.
  • 🐎 NOT IN ACTIVE COMBAT
    • If you’re downed but aren’t in active conflict (e.g., kicked by a horse, falling damage), you are incapacitated.
    • You can speak and choose to retain memory even without a doctor. We know y’all be daring crazy stuff sometimes !
  • 🔫 IN PVP CONFLICT
    • If you are downed during an active PVP conflict, you are unconscious.
    • You may remember everything up until you lose consciousness, but remember nothing until you get revived by a doctor and get told by people that were at the conflict.
    • If you chose to respawn, no recollection of what happened can be used in your future RP.
    • While unconscious, you may make utterances, but cannot remember the details or subject of any conversations.
  • 👪 Families & Groups
    • Groups with more than 6 members must file a <> 📩┃ticket before they can RP as such.
  • 🤝 Affiliation with a Group or Family
    • Once you join a Group/Family you need to fill up a <> in 📩┃ticket in order to be officially part of the organization.
  • 🎈 Group & Family events
    • If a larger-than-6 group has organized a social event, the group should designate 6 members of the group to be prepared to guard if unexpected conflict occurs and inform staff through a <> 📩┃ticket before the event takes place
  • 🤏 Group Size in Scenarios
    • A group is limited to 6 collaborating characters in a given scenario.
    • A scenario is when a violent outcome is likely to happen in a situation where a group is working together to obtain a shared, economic objective.
  • 📚 /me and Scenes
    • Must be used to facilitate and enable Role Play. When committing a crime, where there are no witnesses or no witnesses left alive (e.g., NPCs or the victim has chosen to res. without a doctor), scenes must be placed as evidence to allow counterplay.
    • Emojis or smiley faces in place of descriptive sentences are not acceptable in /me
    • e.g., ‘/me winks’ is correct. ‘/me ;)’ is not.
  • 🪢 Hostage
    • One (1) hostage is allowed by robbery, taking the hostage as a method of manipulating Law Characters to release a prisoner from Sisika or bargain their sentence is not allowed.

All Servers

This is an adult environment.

Everyone will be treated with respect.

Hate and intolerance will not be permitted.

Harassment will not be tolerated.

Only one warning, the length of the ban is determined by the admin banning you.

No RDM. No fail RP. No trolling. No griefing.

The actions of your character need to fit the roleplay of your character without disrupting the roleplay of other players.

Consent and the Server Rules (All Servers)

Anyone can opt-out of any Role Play at any time for any reason. If you need a safe word or phrase we suggest “I have a Doctor’s Appointment” then walk away out of sight and log out. By joining the server you are consenting to role-play within the server rules, you can withdraw that consent at any time by logging out. There are no negative consequences for leaving any roleplay that makes you uncomfortable. You are welcome to rejoin when you are ready. Dragon recommends a 20-minute cooldown and some grounding exercises.

Example: “Combat logging” is not a thing here. If you are engaged in a firefight (ie you started it, and you willingly participated) and log out to avoid the consequences, that is considered fail RP. If gun fights are a trigger for you and you find yourself in the middle of one, do not engage. Please leave the area and/or log out, it is acceptable and encouraged. Role Play should be fun, and safe. You should not dread logging in to a server.
