Ok, so the current update is that we have 5 different server projects in development.
NOTE: We only do soft deadlines as we are a team of volunteers we move the deadlines as needed with no notice to anyone but ourselves.
In for a Penny? by Crimson Creek is due to release end of Aug. This is our penny economy project with all the bells and whistles, using RicX and Syn scripts primarily. We will over time replace those scripts with our own in-house version but initially, they will be third-party. (White list only)
Drained and Devastated by Crimson Creek is due to be released at the end of this week. We’ve run into a few hiccups over the last two weeks so that may push back. This is a post-apocalypse environment. The world was ravaged by a plague, only a few survived with limited supplies on an island. The survivors have to find their way back to the mainland and learn how to survive and rebuild civilization. Chapters will be released as the bulk of the population hits certain milestones so that the store can progress (assuming the dev has built the new scripts.. so don’t rush it… take your time and enjoy the world). (White list only)
Shape Shifters and Shamans by Crimson Creek is due to be released in August. This server is about being able to shift into different animals and travel the world and explore. Shamans will have magic abilities and potions, and the players when they go through initial character selection will enter a dream quest where they will meet their animal half, and learn how to shapeshift. From there the players will develop the community and decide the direction the story goes. Available scripts will be the same as Drained and Devastated as we develop our own set of server scripts. (White list only)
The Wild Ones (Animals) by Crimson Creek — Open – This server is so we can offer younger teens who are 16 to 18 a safe place to play. There will be no text chat or voice chat. No PVP or PvE. No weapons. The animal peds are random initially. We will add special objects in the game that the kids can go to and use when they want to be a specific animal. It will be a multiplayer environment but they will not be able to interact with voice chat or text chat. The teens can use their own discord server for voice chat where their parents can monitor interactions and verify they are safe. We can not limit players to teens only at this time, so the security measures must remain in place. Parents are responsible for watching over their children and verifying they are safe. If anyone is caught abusing the server or using mods that circumvent our settings they will be banned from all of our servers. (Open to all)
The Drained by Crimson Creek – This is something we are working on. Possible initial release end of August. The idea is sort of a purge server (kill on sight allowed), but instead of normal NPC’s their mostly zombies. A different twist on the plague server idea. More details are to come after the first 4 are released. (White list only)
